নাড়ি, নাড়ী : (p. 563) nāḍ়i, nāḍ়ī an artery or vein; the pulse (নাড়ি টেপা); the placenta (নাড়ি কাটা); the intestines (নাড়ি জ্বলা); (loos.) the uterus (নাড়ির দোষ). নাড়ি কাটা v. to cut the umbilical cord or detach the placenta. নাড়ির গতি regular or rhythmical beat of arteries as felt at the wrist. ̃ঘাত n. pulse-beat.
